Hmm. Card-draw wizards is quite a done thing already. Maybe we can play with the 'top of deck' thing a bit more.

Ok, let's try matching to the card you just played - that should neatly cut off infinite recursion. And what should it do? Draw it, deal damage... cast it?

Let's make it 'play it' - you're most likely to be matching a land, anyway.
