Socialism + Hanna

Every creature is a Keldon Warlord and an avatar - hand size eight, starting life only 15, and all your spells cost {1} less which sounds really powerful.

All your creature spells cost less, maybe? There's been a few variants on that; Planar Gate being probably the cleanest.

Problem is that it's usually just equivalent to 'tap for 1 mana' but abusable with artifact creature recursion for infinities.

I'm tempted to try and make a Keldon avatar; but there's no frame support for it and it's not really useful to request it.

Hanna's other cards recurse artifacts and give them shroud. So yeah; very much setting up the inifinite artifacts plan.

So.. I next thought of printing March of the Machines, but, well, Karn exists already.

Has the opposite been done? Let's try it.

Rarity: Niche, splash. Rare.
Cost: I have no clue. This probably does nothing; let's try it as low as is sensible for a 1/1 critter. If it IS abusable, then what the heck, it's a 1/1 critter, the opponent can kill that. Development may find a combo and scream, but affinity for artifacts was always broken, and metalcraft is already easy to attain.

My mind is completely boggled as to how you got here from those two cards.
If I'm reading this card correctly, it turns your Enchantment Creatures into Artifact creatures... instead. Right?

I guess it would, yes. And I thought my steps were quite well explained, really.

Though I agree, it's not where I would have expected to end up, either.

I know that all the steps are there. They're still a bit boggling, to be honest. I think I'm confused about Hanna, Ship's Navigator giving things shroud, and then how March of the Machines relates to that, and how this is the opposite of March of the Machines...

I didn't follow all the explanation, but the resultant card generally felt right to me :)

Hanna's Custody gives shroud. March of the machines because we've got an 'all creatures' bit and an artifact lover.

And march makes all artifacts into creatures. While this makes all creatures into artifacts. This is kinda the minimal change that could make. Crazier card ideas would search your library for a non-creature artifactw ith the same CMC to replace them, but I'm trying to reign in the crazy a bit. So we get icky-feeling "Everything changed but outwardly looks the same" instead. Which brought up flavours of hive, which lead to the even ickier creature type name and flavour text.
