Are we sure we wouldn't want this to gain you 2 life? Or be -1/-1 and cost {1}{b}? The way the card is written right now, people are bound to compare this directly to Stab Wound, and it sure doesn't look good in comparison.

Feel free to tweak the numbers, I'm not sure what the right combination is. I'm worried too much lifegain may tend to stall limited games, but you're right, it should be comparable to stab wound, not worse.

Seeing as the original card replaced cost 2, I dropped it to 1B, and -1/-1. That's not locked in stone or anything. If people feel the effect should be bigger, and/or more expensive, we can do that.

By comparison with Viper's Kiss, the -1/-1 version of this could be just 1 mana, I think.

I guess it's for playtesting to determine whether the -1/-1 version of this actually does enough against the other colours in the format to make it particularly worth playing.

Sure, changed to {b}. There's too many cards in the file that cost {b}, but there's probably too many that cost {1}{b}, too.

I think there's a point where I should probably let development handle this stuff anyway, true.
