Shabtis in ancient Egyptian culture are small helper statuettes who comes life and work as servants in a person's afterlife. This cycle of Shabtis being 0/1 uncommon artifact creatures that helps the summoner showcase this fact. The cycling is a flavour addition to break a shabti and harvest the divine magic within for "emergency use."
