­Strongarm Thug + Focused Flare

A black critter who brings back a mercenary (I vaguely remember those, they're like allies; only crap) and a Disintegrate variant (preventing damage prevention, rather than regeneration) that deals actual efficient damage if you've missed fewer land drops than an opponent. Very nice.

So, ETB, tribal, Raise Dead, direct damage, landfall.

I wanted to play with landfall triggers on creatures. ("Landfall Haste" was one I had) - so let's go with that.

Intimidate is a bit like direct damage; kinda sorta.

Flavour - some kind of greedy native guide? A sherpa? But that's too associated with mountains. Annoying; Lovecraft appears not to have a named horrific thing from beyond that gives guidance that I can easily find and spell. Oh, here we go, "Defago" from the Wendigo, he'll do.

Oh bleh; my wording of Landfall isn't canonical. It feels like a natural expansion though.
