evasion, creature and land destruction, mana manipulation

You know, I always think of cost reduction and increase as white/blue, but I suppose Blood Funnel and Heartless Summoning to set some precedent for it in black, not to mention Rakdos, Lord of Riots.

it's reference to Leshrac's battle in Nether Void and his use of Mana Matrix. a different way to make mana unlike green or red or liliana's relying on swamp. reminiscent of black's legacy of mana generation including Dark Ritual. but also lock out opponents like nether void.
