From a goblin artisans challenge (to use a P/T previously unused in magic).
I tried to capture the "one-two punch" feel. I feel I got halfway there, but it's still rather like trample-lite. Any suggestions for streamlining it without throwing the concept away entirely?
It could have trample, but then it wouldn't really be any different to a 10/10 trample. Ideally you could chump block with two creatures to absorb all of the damage -- is there any wording which would do that in a natural way?
Not using conventional double strike, I don't think.
You could do something like "~ deals 5 damage to the first creature that blocks it each turn" though.
Double Strike, Trample, "CARDNAME can't assign damage to more than one creature or player in each combat damage step."
"As long as no creatures are blocking ~, it has trample." It sounds so weird, but does exactly what you want.
What he wants is "Ideally you could chump block with two creatures to absorb all of the damage", and if both chumps combined for 5 toughness or less, they wouldn't stand up to it that way.
