This feels a little wordy. Does it need the +1/+1 ability?

I think the problem then is that getting components doesn't help you win most of the time.

So what about our discussion over on Eldaveth's Guard? Are we going to change this to Eldaveth by dropping flying and changing the name?

Making him not be aven makes his second ability a lot worse and also lessens the effect of aven in the set even further. (They control one of the three most influential cities on Archester yet have maybe 4 cards total?)

The problems I have with him are that...

1) He has no purpose in the story. There is no flavor justification for him he is simply an Aven and nothing more. Eldaveth was suppose to be the chief inventor in Brass City a role that would make the mechanics of this card fit nicely.
2) He feels like the worst kind of unimaginative rare. He is simply the Guards+. At least as Eldaveth it would function slightly differently.
3) Too the best of my knowledge the Aven of Archester are suppose to be very reclusive. That would seem to justify their absence from much of the goings on in the first set. I think they were suppose to come out of their shells in [Steam] and [Ahead].

It can be Eldaveth. She can even have flying, just have her using a jet pack in the art.

It feels kinda weird that this is the only mono-colored legend in the set. Maybe be this shouldn't be a legend.
