Can we keep her name as Elizabeth? I don't even know how to pronounce Eldaveth.

Well the point was to avoid using real world names, though I guess we've kind of abandoned that with Richard (Ferron). Still, I don't think Eldaveth is that hard of a name to say (el as in the letter L, da as in duh, veth as in beth), regardless. Let's see what everyone else thinks.

I second the use of Elizabeth, or just a more obscure real-world name. MTG has no qualms with using real-world names, so long as they have a fantasy ring to them (Elspeth, Chandra, Jace, Gideon, etc).

Then let's find one with a more fantasy ring to it than Elizabeth.

To be fair, Magic's also not above slightly changing real world names (cough heliod cough)

Marion? For Marion Donovan? You may not think much of it, but her taking the simple cloth diaper and adding layers and adhesives to it is an incredibly steampunky cliche of complicating a process- but it worked. Also, I like disposable diapers. They're a great invention.

Marion sounds good. Some others I like: Abigale, Alva, Beatrice, Edwina, Helene, Millicent, Roesia, Sophronia, and Zylphia.

Marion sounds far too normal IMO.

I actually don't really know who this person is, why doesn't this just belong to our aven legendary?

Honestly, I seem to remember our aven legend being eldaveth. That's why their abilities are similar, they were suppose to be the trademark of the character and her aupporters. I think she was suppose to be our H.G. Wells character (Warehouse 13 H.G. Wells not the literary writer)

Eldaveth got change to our aven legend when flying got added to the card.

Now I'm sad, I was looking forward to putting sexy tinker princess in the next set.

I'm not saying we can't still have her. The flavor of the Aven legend never really struck a cord with me. Maybe we should reconsider her in place of our aven legend, all we'd really have to do is remove flying and change the name back to whatever it was before.

We should do that.
