I was thinking of RW abilities for Challenge # 081 and I realised this didn't fit on a charm, but seemed like a good idea for a RW ability; white providing the "instead", red providing the "twice as much damage", and both providing the "to target creature or player".
I'm if existing spells redirect any amount of damage from a creature, but only some from a spell, in which case this might be simpler if it was "the next time target creature would deal damage, it deals... instead"
With 3 creatures out, I play this targeting Sorrow's Path, then tap it. Do you want this card to work so that only one of the damage recipients gets their shot prevented and turned into 4 damage somewhere else, or (as this card actually works with the current wording) prevent the whole shebang and fry the opponent for 16?
Woohoo, I FINALLY broke Sorrow's Path!
I'm not sure. I intended it to work as a normal redirect spell, but twice as much, but I'm not sure if that's best written as (a.) affecting creatures only or (b.) limiting the amount of damage or (c.) something else. Any suggestions?
