Mashup of Burning Boar and Nest Invader.

Haste. Mana. What do you get? I guess this. I considered adding flash, as it is green, but I decided that while cool that was overkill.

Normally two-mana mana creatures aren't very attractive if you can play one-mana ones instead, but might be better in the right deck. It's a bit like Burning-Tree Emissary, but not exactly.

I always like Quirion Dryad, for its ability to toss a 1-drop on the table right behind it. Mind you, it was never a good card, but I always wanted it to be. Maybe this is good? I don't know. I do like the type of deck it wants to build, though.

This is neat.

Do you mean Quirion Dryad, jmg? That doesn't really throw 1-drops after it, and was rather notably a good card in the Miracle-Gro decks.

Ahh... I bet Quirion Sentinel is the one you mean.

I do like this. It's interesting comparing it with the new Zhur-Taa Druid (image). (Or I suppose with Radha, Heir to Keld.) Neither of those actually taps for {r} like this does, but it seems fine to tap for {r} or {g} to me.

It's interesting to me, because it doesn't work most of the time you really need a mana fixer; but does let you get that second {r/g}.

Mm. Like Trace of Abundance, which was okay, or Knotvine Mystic, which I never saw anyone do much with.
