Reduce lifeloss to 2, illusions draw you cards. Illusions reduce your lifeloss? That sounds fine. though, really, blue shouldn't get such a blatantly white effect. Loving the wording here though - the m:tg rules enforce that it has to be a pre-existing illusion - but it sure reads like the enchantment provides.

Changed from "A source" to "a spell" primarily for the even lovlier wording, (although "it deals it2 is just ew) and also because it makes it something blue can do. "Protection from spells (as long as you control an illusion)" is just a poor mans "You have hexproof" after all. Which.. uh.. it turns out is actually an ability granted by a white cat. "Oh Hai!" says Spirit of the Hearth. I hereby justify it on the basis that this is a VERY weak version, and that cat is clearly cyan.

For card wording purposes, I do not want to clarify who chooses the illusion. For me understanding purposes - it's this enchantments controller, and at the time the damage resolves, right?

pun rename; probably pushing it

Oh fiddlesticks. It probably just makes you invulnerable if you don't have any illusions, doesn't it?

Append "If that spell destroys the illusion, it also destroys this."? (not ~this~)

I think you're fine Vitenka. The card just makes you try to do something you can't (redirect damage to an object that doesn't exist) and the effect fails to happen. It's kind of like a card that asks you to sacrifice a creature, when you don't have a creature.

Nifty. I like it when you can get close to the natural way of writing something and have it still work.

It seems like the normal templating would be "to target illusion you control instead". That doesn't seem completely necessary when it's being dealt to your creature, but it's what most redirection effects on gatherer do, and also neatly specifies that you do have a creature to redirect to.

Yeah I know, but I wanted to avoid that in search of the nicely ambiguous-ish natural wording.

Also, targetting Illusions runs the risk of them going boom like Phantasmal Bear

Oh, good point. That would actually be someone appropriate (most of the time, the ability might as well be "sacrifice an illusion, counter target spell that would deal damage to you") but it's not right if popping the illusion fizzles the ability, yeah.
