For Challenge # 053, a mash-up of Gorilla Berserkers and Thundering Giant.

The symmetric RR and GG mana costs made me sure this should be a big {r}{g} creature. Or it equally well be hybrid, since both colours could get both of these effects, but I decided that was just my game-designer-ness getting too cute: because it CAN be hybrid doesn't mean it absolutely has to be, even though it's rare to find interesting effects which can be hybrid.

I took an average of the stats, giving 3/3, and both keyword abilities. I then looked at gorilla berserkers, and it basically says "don't block me, and if you do, you're screwed", but I decided that +4/+4 (the minimum bonus) plus trample was sufficient incentive not to block, and decided it didn't need to be in the rules text :)

I don't know how good this is -- I think "good, but not gamebreaking". Haste plus evasion plus three damage a turn is pretty good, but it's still only a 3/3 for five mana. And it's AWESOME if they block it, but it's no better than an evasion ability.

Well, unless you put lure on it. That would be nice :)

Isn't funny how easy it is to make Rampage look good? It's almost as if Wizards designed Rampage the wrong way when they first printed it. ;)
