Hmm. Wording looks a little odd: you can effectively set up two of your permanents to be in antiphase. But it doesn't seem obviously evil. It'd be good if there were a lot of control-switching effects, or some such, but I can't think of a format with that. So I can't quite see what mischief Link is up to here...

This one kind of boggled me when it popped, too. Perhaps Link is anticipating an environment where Switcheroo becomes a format defining card. Maybe he just wants to set this up with Puca's Mischief, which is very unfair once you've lost tempo.

I made a quick Gatherer search for "Target opponent gains control" and came up with some interesting cards, but I'm pretty sure they aren't the sort of ideas that Link has. I have to admit, though, that this would only take one strong card to break it. A reprinted Avarice Totem, or a creature that kept insisting that it needed to go to its opponent's side of the battlefield. You know, like Karona, False God, but with proper timing.

It does work well with things like Gilded Drake, but I also intended it to work with things like Dreamborn Muse, Braids, Conjurer Adept, and other such things you may only want to trigger during certain upkeeps.

Oh. Wow. Yes. Straight into a Stax deck along with Braids, Cabal Minion or Smokestack. Yikes. Nicely done!

Oh yes, I totally missed that too, which shows how appropriate it was.

I guess it's most broken with something like Solitary Confinement or Glacial Chasm which become "During opponent's turn, (you have shroud / creatures can't attack you) and prevent all damage to you" which isn't perfect, but is a complete lock if they don't have the right artifact/enchantment removal.
