Um, wow. That's a lot of rules text.

Ok; we've got two thing that are temporary; and the easiest way to express it is culmulative upkeep. Made W/G because it wants to be an artifact, but mustn't be because then red can use it. At 4+ I don't mind so much. And allow it to hit equipment because that seems interesting.

Does this work? I don't doubt that you can make auras and equipment to attach to artifacts, but wouldn't they fall off when they realize they're attached to an artifact? I'm pretty sure that's what happens to, say, man-lands...

They're exiled; the attach was just for memory. I guess I could just leave them unattached and rely on the "this way" clause.

Yeah, it doesn't work to have an exiled Aura attached to something on the battlefield. And it's also not necessary: people have been playing Oblivion Ring, Skyship Weatherlight, and so on just fine. You can just say "Exile target attached permanent" and "return all cards exiled with ~". Thanks to the evil linked-ability rules that'll do precisely what you want and nothing else.

I guess since they go back to hands, they don't need to be attached anywhere, so as suggested, make them not.
