I just can't seem to avoid squeezed text.

"Ooh, free stuff" is cool, especially in EDH. But it's only good when you fill your deck with auras, so it's hopefully not overpowered :)

Wowee. Splashy. Which is precisely what was wanted, of course. I wonder how viable this along with Mythic Proportions, Eldrazi Conscription etc is? The possibility of a turn 2/2 11/11 trample is certainly very Timmy.

(Hmm, the deck could also be stuffed with Annex, Confiscate etc, since they don't have to go on Zur himself.) Yeah, this is probably a bit terrifying. But somewhat fixable by restricting it either by CMC or to go on Zur himself. After all, the original tricolour Zur the Enchanter had both restrictions, so putting one of them on the one-drop version doesn't seem unreasonable! :)

EDIT... Huh. No he doesn't. It's just always used to get things to put on him. I should remember really, because my ooolld Zur EDH deck (from before it was massively overdone) used Look At Me, I'm R&D in order to be able to get out Snake Cult Initiation on him. Hmm.

Yeah, it could easily be restricted to "on him" (or at least, on permanents you control); I thought the possibility of pacifisms was interesting, but is more spike/johnny than Timmy.

I considered a mana cost restriction, but I decided firstly, that's a lot less Timmy, and secondly, it's quite hard to get Eldrazi conscription on top of your library (if you play four of them, you've probably hosed your deck any time you draw one or don't draw Zur :)), and thirdly, if necessary we could make sure there weren't any "win the game" auras sharing standard with this. And modern can take care of itself: it was ALREADY full of "win the game on turn 2" combos that no-one saw coming, and they just had to ban them all :)

Man, I had a Zur Commander deck before Spike started ruining the Zur Commander decks. Rewards of Diversity is insane in Multiplayer Commander decks. People are less likely to attack you if had that out than Propaganda... It just isn't worth beating on the guy with 100 life...

I was wondering when Auras would show up, and I find it funny that they popped up like this. Timmy loves auras, but 1cc auras can be a bit of a drag, since you kinda want a 2cc to fall on a 1cc creature... that, and you can't get hidden costs in this challenge, so no Shimmering Wings tricks.
