Made for Challenge # 044. I think it's a great Timmy card, because he'll take one look at it and say, "1 mana for a 10/10??? NO WAY!!" without worrying about the downside. I can also see him anxiously counting the turns down till the craziness begins. I'm not sure what the right toughness should be - probably no more than 0/2 or 0/3.

Right on target. I've played too many games with Llanowar Elite, but never got the kicker. I didn't really care, though. Could you imagine if I kicked that thing? It would have been crazy!

Yeah, I'd definitely like this if I wanted to be splashy but cheap :)

Nicely done. Could probably be rather fewer than 10 turns; compare with Ludevic's Test Subject.

I realize I could play around with the numbers a bit. Remember, though, that this not exactly like Ludevic's Test Subject; with that card you invest a bunch more mana into flipping it (a total of 12 instead of 1). So, if they kill it right before you transform it, you've lost a lot of time. I'd liken this card a lot more to Durkwood Baloth, except much bigger but more vulnerable and there's no way to hard-cast it.

This card would benefit from something like: "{g}{g}: Put a time counter on ~.", which would bump up its playability but would go against the spirit of the challenge.

I like this idea, but I think it goes toward showing that there almost has to be a cost to making a 1-drop Timmy card. Here, it's all the turns you have to wait.
I do like how this illustrates that Timmy doesn't care how often something awesome will happen, or how likely it is to happen, but only that it CAN happen.

@Link: I don't think so. I do think time counts as an extra cost, but I think there have been several submissions for this challenge with no "hidden cost" that are definitely Timmy, such as Untame Lightning, Rage Stoker, and most especially Blessing of Life.
