For Challenge # 038. I was originally working on a card for the 6 casting cost slot, since we had none, and came up with this. Unfortunately, Spelljack is just better at doing what it does, so I shifted it down to the rather restrictive


slot. It's very good, but will only be s effective against cheap spells... which is an awkward problem for the spellcaster. It would be much easier for the blue wizard to take out Lightning Bolt with a cheap spell... not an expensive one...
Yeah, that's pretty good. You totally will use it on expensive spells, just to get rid of them, but there's the advantage of using it on cheap spells that you get to play them. And there's the potential for a real blowout if you counter the right spell and can wait long enough. I like it.
In fact, they look very different, but the "probably counter it, possibly get it if its not too expensive" possibly has a similar effect to Vitenka's (((Cancel (Not the time spiral one)))), which makes me think better of both of them.
