Um. Boom much? I nominate "Giant growth" as the other spell, in a mono green stompy trample deck. This looks like a (hang on, I'm green, carry the mana elf...) turn 4 win every time I draw it?

Hm. It actually looks like the abilities are in the wrong order. Everything becomes rainbow just too late to get +5/+5 from it.

Alex, are you sure about that? It makes sense, but I thought there might be a chance that even if the effects are applied in order, the first ability would still react to the application of the Melody-clause as the spell resolves.

@Pentad - Even if this worked as intended, your hyperbole seems misplaced. Powerful cards exist, and considering that this doesn't grant trample or any other evasive quality, I can't imagine that this is remotely as powerful as something like Overwhelming Stampede. In your imaginary scenario, how are you accelerating into 5 mana worth of spells while still having 4+ unblockable creatures?
