This ended up awfully specific, only usable with a narrow subset of creatures, but I stuck with the flavour. Development would probably add a normall equip cost.

I thought the flavour notes to hit were: only the right hero can use it; legendary hero returns from the grave when he's most needed; hero can walk through opposing armies unscathed; hero is generally actually doomed.

I find it odd that the best use I can think of for this is to match it up to solid sacrifice effects. If you have a Viscera Seer in play, for example, you just gained "{2}: Scry 1.". It's a bit nuts with Birthing Pod (but, you know, Birthing Pod is a bit nuts) and goes infinite with Ashnod's Altar.

Heh. Similar idea to Sword in the Stone. I think the flavour would work fine if it was just "target legendary creature": if this particular world's saviour is a Cat or a Fox, I think it could still wield Excalibur.
