I'm not entirely sure if this thing would work properly, nor if it should be silver-bordered instead. Also I'd imagine it would be far too situational to ever be playable

For one thing, the card is on the stack while it is resolving, so the last two abilities contradict each other. (This might be fixed by saying you exile this spell and then you lose the game.)

Other than that, it might work, but consider that you might have to cast this spell while trying to resolve state-based actions (I am not sure that it is a problem, though).

About how good it is to use, I don't know.

Edited to make so that the "you lose the game" effect actually works. For whatever reason I feel making the spell exile itself from the stack to be a bit clunky, so instead I tried to word it as a "leaves the stack" effect, which to be honest also sound somewhat clunky

"If [Obscenely narrow hoop to jump through just happens to exist] then you win the game otherwise lose the game"

Turns out, this card has actually been printed and suggested before multiple times.

Why is this an instant that creates a continuous effect on the stack rather than an enchantment?

One last shot to try and win is a very desirable card for some players.

Obviously, there needs to be some pay-off for using it rather than just, well, winning the game normally the turn before.

But this seems almost terrifyingly good - and make the game kind of boring. As long as your combo can win at instant speed, you just need to sit there with it in hand, waiting to lose so that you can play it and win. Heck, you don't even need to put land in your deck.
