My first thought was to use +1/+1 counters, but I think fungus are currently stopping us from using those counters in anything but green. That's okay, because it forced me to come up with something a bit weirder and probably a bit closer to flavor.

This creature is missing two things that I removed due to lack of text... well...

  • Trample was removed because of wordiness, but doesn't belong here anyway. That would mean there would be no reason to block this creature, and you want this creature to be blocked.
  • "When this creature leaves the battlefield, return all creatures and land exiled by it to the battlefield" is a lot of words. It may be worth it, but we'll have to accept that this card has a lot of words to get the flavor of "when the snowball is destroyed, it explodes and all the stuff comes flying out". May not want to return exiled lands either.

    Wacky, wordy, yet fun.

ROFL. That's great. I agree it's difficult if we want to avoid +1/+1 counters, I'm not sure what's best. I hope we may be able to simplify this a bit further while keeping the flavour.

Interesting - it's going to quite quickly become big enough that you'll want to block it; and doing so only makes things worse...

If there's anyway of directly harnessing power, or of gifting trample in set, this is going to be terrifying.

But, well, it's a cost 6 rare. So that's probably allowed. And it does take a couple of turns to become really dangerous.

Lovely flavour. I agree creatures should come back. Maybe it should only exile one of its blockers, so that there's SOME way to deal with it directly (assuming you have a pair of 4/x blockers...)
