I'm trying to figure out how this fits the flavor of the name. It should be an ongoing scheme that puts a player on your team, or takes control of him/her.

The idea was, they THINK they've been attacking the bad guy, but actually it was just a stooge and the bad guy is someone else entirely. But I agree it's not perfect.

As is, this encourages you to make your deck suck.

Well, it technically encourages all the players to have sucky decks. At which point they lose to the Archenemy when the effect never goes off (which is most of the time). Doesn't really sound like a strategy.

What it does encourage is your friends to have silver bullets to take on your deck with, which sounds kind of funny. I approve of a player tossing a Aether Snap in their deck because they aren't sure if their friend is really their friend.
