Of course, if this is your first scheme, you can take out an opponent in one shot -- but Archenemy was never supposed to be fair :)
It was, however, supposed to be fun. After the first few times this happened, I'd probably remove this card from the stack. Still a solid idea, though. "Lose Two Life: Deal 1 damage to creature or player." Would probably get this idea across, still be potent, but not end the game unless you were ending the game.
