See Peculiar Distortion.

Inspired by the comment http://www.magicmultiverse.net/cards/93984#comment_94558 saying that black gets draw and discard but not looting. Reminiscent of Peculiar Portent, but you can do this the good-blue-loot way round, not only the bad-red-rummage way round.

You could also do a sorcery style "choose one" although for a one-off effect the life gain needs to be larger, so the peculiar casting cost is going to end up being UW for "loot, gain life"

(This might also be a concept for a half-tap card :) )

{u}{u}: Trigger all of your "When..." conditions. (Creature untaps, creature taps, Lose life, draw card, creature untaps, creature taps, discard card, gain life.)

Typo, {2/u} -> {2}{u}

Oh; well - that's a lot harder to make it go whirr. Shame. Sensible; but a shame.

I do like that this plays an interesting dual role.
