See Electrically-Grilled Auroch. You choose Well-Done, you may very well be asked politely, but firmly, to leave.

Shouldn't these be in the Silver Bordered set?

I believe that's debatable. While these are all silly, I felt that was the natural tone for a food-based world. While silver-bordered cards can be the forerunners of black border cards, none of these don't explore any potential new territory. The major rejection I was positing was to disregard any notion of limiting how many mechanics or unique elements could be used.

I really don't understand the flavor of these cards, at all.

I mean, why would having something well-done give a creature menace? Why would eating a medium steak give a creature double strike?

At least, the name of this card is 100% better placed on a silver-bordered card, or maybe as a Scheme (since those have weird names too)

There's several other major problems with this card: Menace, first strike and double strike are not in {r}{g}, all three of those have a presence in {r}, but not as much as something like 'haste'. {r}{g} would be better off with 'trample' or something.

as for formatting errors, this card has many. Choose 1 should say 'choose one' and you indented totally wrong. On modal spells, they generally use spaces and hyphens rather than black circle symbols and no spaces.

Also, since you've decided to give each mode a name (not usual, but actually a pretty cool idea I've explored before), you're basically forced to italicize those names to show that they are just flavor text and have no rules meaning. Also, the hyphens after them are missing a space, as well.

Finally, what did you mean by protection from damage ? Were you looking for Indestructible? Protection from damage has never been used, and definitely has rules errors.

Even fixing all these rules and flavor issues, a 5-mode spell is unadvisable at best.

I definitely didn't think through the colors after deciding that rare and medium-rare would produce mana. Protection from damage wouldn't be indestructible, but could be "prevent all damage that would be dealt to target creature," which is green.

A more simple name would be "Grilling." I only thought of that now.

I was not aware of the formatting issues for modal spells. If I were to actually include this in a set, I would try and clean that up.

Enter mana symbols like this: {2}{U}{U/R}{PR}, {T} becomes {2}{u}{u/r}{pr}, {t}
