Hmm, good question.
The intent is indeed to allow you to add a color to and EDH deck. Is that a good decision? I don't know! But I tend to just put cards on here when I think of them, whether they're a good idea or not.

I think this is cool. Whether it's healthy or not for the format, I dunno. My guess is probably not. Still pretty neat.
If it isn't unwise enough to be ill-advised, commanders with Follower would have to be quite weak even compared to Partner commanders.
