Questionable design for a common; revealing some of the nastiness in the DFC mechanic. Having two of these on the battlefield you can play around with the stack to trigger the ability of the back face of one of these by activating the ability on the front face.
And every single instance of changing base toughness on these should be a red flag for combat math by itself.
Maybe you just should on every single of these cards change the back-side triggered ability to "Remove all damage from ~ and transform it at the end of each combat."?
A sin, but I am generally noot concerned with complexity from the first ability of the front face of the card.
But the damage and transforming tooughnesses is a definite note for concern that I did not consider before. Removing damage seems strong. Do you think it might be better to give creatures the same toughness on both sides of the card instead? A number oof cdfc cards in this set already have the same toughness on both faces.
I forgot I already made Stalwart Leader who'se front face is too similar to this. I will have to redesign the front face of this card.
Replaced first ability on front-face. Both sides have a toughness of 1.
