Surely white doesn't get better first on a grizzly bear?

Kinda interesting to have it useful in late game as a combat trick though - I like the concept.

Made the cost from {1} {w} to {2} {w} --would that work?

It kinda loses the "Ok, I can cycle this for MORE than I could cast it? But... ah, I seeeeee" factor, which is a shame.

At {2} {w} you get 2/2 first strike + bushido (or whatever) - so that might even be a little underpowered now.

Although it's quite similar to Shinen of Stars' Light, and quite a bit better.
