I am not sure this kind of effect is in white's share of the color pie.

It's tertiary in white. Which is to say the set needs a rather good reason for it. Remember the Fallen is the last one I remember, from a famously pie-stretching set. I confess to having done it myself - Lofty Guardian - I think with sufficient justification in that case (exploring what combinations of types Reminisce could go on). But each case should be examined carefully to see if there is sufficient justification.

If you're going to do a white Raise Dead effect, then a colour-shift of Gravedigger is one of the cleanest and most sensible ways to do it.
