Well, apart from strange triggers, aren't you always going to have target player be yourself?

Meaning it's just a grizzlies you can't cast when you're on 1 life. (Or near it, if you have a red opponent)

I guess the possibilities of doing strange things with the triggers make it worthwhile though.

Yeah: was the intention to be able to donate life to an ally, or to have this be costed more aggressively and mandatorily have an opponent gain 1 of your life? (I think either would be interesting.)
