Turn 2, this, tap island. Brainstorm, flip.

That does seem to be the wishlist for getting it flipped quickly.

And you get... well, either a second colourless mana, or a birds of paradise. Hardly back-breaking. Indeed, barely seems rewarding, for the effort put in to transform it.

I mean, Brainstorm is the strong card in that interaction, I think. I don't think I should be worried about that.

@Vitenka, do you think it's weak? As a Land Creature that transforms into a planeswalker, it being too strong is a concern of mine.

The planeswalker side is the weak bit though.

Just a 1/1 man-land is interesting, and good. But sure, it's colourless and so let's give that a spin.

But its other sideis the reward for drawing 4 cards in a turn; usually quite a difficlut feat; and, well, it's a kinda not very inspiring grab bag of low-tier stuff?

I mean, the turn you transform it, you get to use 3 mana from it. Which is nice, given you have at least 4 extra cards to cast now. And then it makes a birds of paradise. Which is also nice. And scrying is, well, it's nice.

And that's the thing. They're all just "Well, that's kinda nice". None of them are "I need to put this in my deck and jump through ALL of the hoops! Every hoop! A thousand hoops! On fire! It's gonna be so much worth it!"

I'm not sure it's completely weak? The front face sure means it isn't. But the effort of transforming it doesn't seem worth it for the result.
