Ditto for my other comment; I don't see the point of including an option for a manaless cast when it does nothing.

Though it's not clear what happens when you don't choose a color at all. If you can get colorless cards (read: lands) with the manaless version, that might be a bit too strong.

It's impossible to take a card with this unless that card has at least one color, regardless of the casting configuration (much like you can never tap Command Tower for colorless even if you have Karn as a commander, or if you're playing a non-Commander game). The manaless version of this is "Pay 6 life to look at your opponent's hand", and that's all.

The goal of this was to not allow for a 0-mana discard spell while still sharing mana cost with the rest of the cycle. Same thing as casting an X spell for 0.

I'm vry amused that if this existed, people would start playing turn-1 off-colour mana to try and bluff it out :)

This would probably see play has a free peek effect, to check if the combo is safe
