Reminds me of Masked Gorgon.

In an aggressive deck controlling the board with removal this might very well be too strong since there would be no other creatures. But I might be stuck with notions of balance and power level that are a bit outdated.

Just as a 1-drop this is potentially a bit too scary, maybe?

It's a wonderful Orgg-like, with lovely flavour though. At the very least, 3/1 insted of 3/2?

i like this, not only does this feel so red as it only hurts players, but it basically has repulsion field trample because creatures cannot block it (i think thats how protection works)

Anyway probably should be a 3/1 so instant and sorceries (the main way to deal with this guy) can do it easier

Um; no. "Protrction from" means cannot be targetted by, damaged by, or blocked by. So this can be blocked by anything, and cannot damage the thing blocking it. And it also cannot block any creature. Truly, it's cowardly.

oh , that's kind of underpowered actually. I guess it's a turn one play, but otherwise useless...

It's strong if you can control the board. Of course, if you can control the board, you can poke them to death with anything at all. So as you point out; it's a strong early-game card if you're trying to rush someone down.

I suppose you can also thin it out with burn, but if you are playing red creature deck then this is kinda bad 50% of the time (if they get a turn 1 play.)

I suppose it fits into an archtype, but I supported the card because it seemed staple-y

Also this lacks a rarity...?

As a lone design with no place in a set, a rarity isn't really necessary.

I think it's a pretty cool design, myself.
