Plasma bolt + Pacifism

Tap or untap target creature, deal it one damage; nerf target creature.

Freeze Ray seems like the obvious mash. I do rather like plasma bolt's ability to deal one dmaage to wake a creature up though; can I channel that?

So nerf one of your own creatures in order to... something? That's basically exert.

"Exert target exertable creature"? I don't think the rules template currently supports that, but is seems like it could. And it could be used both to double-boost your own creatures, and to lock down opponent creatures for longer. (If nothing else; the opponent might as well exert it since it's not being exerted anyway)

So... I guess now I've made an acceleration ray?

Reminds me of Tombfire and Hisoka's Defiance, that is, it's naarrooooow. I don't think the "gets the benefit of that ability" works since they are context dependent on the activated / triggered ability.

Well yeah. Thus my "I don't think the rules supoprt this". But they could. Maybe the wording would be different. "Activate an exertion ability on target creature" perhaps?

Narrow is indeed true. Perhaps this should be a bit more expensive and also allow you to exert a normally-non-exertion creature.
