Reminds me a lot of Extract. Here it can work better in multiplayer but you have to know what you're looking for before searching.
Mmm, you're probably not going to hit the same card from every deck except in really horribly broken environments.
Unless you pick a land I guess?
Naming Sol Ring in Commander is a safe bet, I guess?
But naming any singleton card in a 100 card deck is pretty pointless. For sol ring specifically; either it's in their hand already, or it's too late to be relevant, or it's too far down the deck to be relevant. So while, yes, it would probably catch a few, it isn't likely to be useful that way 95% of the time.
I 'unno. I don't see any particular problem with this card. It'd exist in sideboards for... Ah. I do see a problem. Why would you risk your opponent casting one? Name Bollix every time.
Exiling a single copy doesn't matter except in singleton formats, but the only real singleton format is unaffected by this
It could hit the 2nd part of any 2 part combo. I guess it would need to hit hands too then. The most boring thing to do here is to let you draw a card so you're not down after casting it.
Added card draw
There we go. If you know your opponents are playing Sol Ring, you can draw 3 for B. If you're wrong, you might not draw any.
"Forest". This is now ultimate powerful card-draw in black.
Nonland, methinks :)
Not sure on the formatting of that. Cabal Therapy says "nonland card name" so would this be nonbasicland card name? No spaces or capitals?
