Mist of Stagnation #2
See Challenge # 139.
Winnower Patrol #2
See Challenge # 139.
I don't imagine so. Still, is this card problematic in allowing you to cast it during your own turn?
Circle of Protection: Red #2
See Challenge # 139.
This is weak a lot of the time, but a bit of a game-shutter-downer, especially in multiples, so I'm not quite sure how to cost it. What's fair?
Lost in the Woods #2
See Challenge # 139.
The original Lost in the Woods hit the obvious flavour which I like enough I couldn't change, but I chose a different variant on it.
Serendib Sorcerer #2
See Challenge # 139.
Many Serendib cards seem to focus on Djinn and Djinn summoning, so I thought it natural to make a sorcerer who specialised in something similar. It ended up a bit more complicated than I'd hoped though.
Is that Johnny's favorite step?
I decided to allow you to cast it during your own combo step in case you need some kind of combo dependent on the number of creatures you had.
Disenchant #2.
For Challenge # 139. I got Disenchant and tried to make a card that gave a creature a sense of hopelessness.
Khalni Hydra #2
For Challenge # 139. Khalni Hydra. Tricky. I decided to really play on where this Hydra comes from, however. The Khalni Garden is where Nissa Ravine's Khalni Heart Expedition leads to. There, the heart, a single flower, has rebud and works to revitalize Zendikar after the assault of the Eldrazi.
If this Hydra is going to be in a garden, why not make him more flower like? I assume heads of the hydra look like flower buds, and that every time it is killed, it reseeds.
If you cast it in the declare blocks step, it's too late to block. Has to be during (preferably an opponent's) declare attack step.
Ouch! Yes, that is clearly a 'horde ambusher'.
Ha! I'm glad you got this. I probably would have spent hours trying to warp this into some sort of 'Basil Thrull'. A thrull that sweetens any stew he's thrown into? Clearly something to do with 'when you sacrifice'... maybe he improves fish and birds?
Seems good.
I would like to think this is a much better card now. It's now balanced against Brand by only hitting one permanent and cantripping.
Now cantrip and R/G, CMC reduced by 1
