Interesting!
For Challenge # 139. Got Murder Investigation. Sure, I wouldn't mind a second crack at trying to get the flavor of that card down. This time, the investigation is on-going, as one player works to deduce what must be in his opponent's hand.
Hm. Submersible is pretty strong, though it's no indestructible. That said, I wonder how much toughness someone would gladly trade to get submersible. I could imagine a player gladly passing on a 5/10 in favor of a 5/5 submersible...
You could give the activated ability on the enchantment, like on Second Wind. I know it's something we're not supposed to do, but I wish Wizards would break its stigma for Auras. It seems relavent there.
Loxodon Warhammer #2
I've been really pleased almost all of the names I've turned up have worked well as new cards. I guessed too many would be too specific (a proper name) or too general ("goblin warrior") to give much guidance, but actually, all the ones I've rolled have been fun. It's been a really interesting challenge!
Edit: website temporarily overloaded, can't post another comment, new cards:

Murder Investigation #2 by jmg
See Challenge # 139 based on Loxodon Warhammer
Loxodon Warhammer makes more sense as an equipment but could just about be a nom-de-guerre.
I'm not sure how strong the ability is, it's quite a nice bonus but obviously there's not many elephants to benefit from it :) I wanted to give +3/+0 but I thought that was too much and not very GW. Would there be a better pump that feels more like that while working better as a commander? Or I could pump the cost up and give a bigger PT bonus, but then you feel bad if you don't have other elephants.
See Challenge # 139 based on (((Tidal Kraken)))
There's lots of giant blue monsters. Here I wanted to try out the keyword I suggested on a GA challenge, submersible.
And I wanted something that captured the ebb and flow of a tide, without being too homarid-y. I'm not sure how it turned out, ideally this would need to level up more before it attacked.
Tidal Kraken #2
"Tapping enchantments?"?
Looming Spires #2
See Challenge # 139, with the name from Looming Spires
I like the way it gets bigger as if it were getting closer, although I'm not quite sure how that would work as a cycle, will they all be "looming"?
Ivory Cup #2
See Challenge # 139. Poor elephant.
Mwuahahaha!
No, that was just a mistake. It could be "lose all activated abilities". Or make the reveal mandatory, even if the flavour is less good. Or I could just leave that off, and accept that "strictly worse than pacifism" is still really good for G.
Cost 3R->1R
Ah! Thanks. I knew there was a card like this but I'd forgotten what it was. Apparently I massively overestimated. Well, I could do the "two damage" version? Or just make this a reprint of circle of flame -- that's what I always imagined COPR to be in the first plpace :)
Eldrazi Temple #2 and Minds Aglow #2
For Challenge # 139. Minds Aglow. Oh cool! A card I've never seen before! Well, then I'm a blank slate, eh?
For Challenge # 139. I got Eldrazi Temple and realized that I need to make a temple for Eldrazi. I tried making the temple big, but I guess some super huge Eldrazi just won't fit inside a casting cost of 12...
Circle of Flame. Funny, you even got the circle in the name. As it turns out, even at
this is a little underpowered. I often saw it rotate as last pick in a pack.
Heh. Maybe you should let the creature activate abilities. Otherwise... well... you can't activate this ability....
