See Challenge # 144.
Yeah, it's a location in Otaria, I thought.
See Challenge # 144.
Well, there's Shadowblood Egg and Shadowblood Ridge; but not much linking flavour I can see in cards.
What is Shadowblood?
I made Command of Bolas and then forgot about it.
Yeah, that's the reaction I'd hoped for, thank you :) Teferi's card was always going to be Melvin-y than printable :)
I guess I could do, "activate any triggered ability", I didn't think of that. But it might be a bit too good with "win the game" cards.
Wheeee! That middle ability! :D
I think it's not actually printable, because I don't think enough players will know what delayed triggered abilities are. And I doubt enough people would understand that you can use this to kill a Elemental Appeal token but not a Ball Lightning, for example.
But still. Heee :)
Shadowblood Charm
See Challenge # 144.
Teferi's Charm
See Challenge # 144.
Forgot to link Teysa's Charm when I made it yesterday.
Yeah, I definitely like the concept here. And I do like the pairing of both kinds of looting effect.
I think both sides might be about
overcosted though. None of those blue effects cost more than
even at instant speed; and likewise those red effects are all
or maybe
instant speed. So I'd say this should be either
/
sorcery, or
/
instant.
I like that you can fuse both lootings, but even then it's going to feel unpleasant paying 5 at sorcery speed to get something worse than Careful Study and Faithless Looting.
This does look awesome. Prooobably too silly?
It might feel less odd if there wasn't just one of it. I wonder if you can have a cycle of five DFC charms all with Innistrad flavour? Gisa is obvious for black, though you could also have Griselbrand, Grimgrin, or even Withengar Unbound. Avacyn or Mikaeus or Thalia can all represent white. For green and red, I guess you'd need Tovalar and Olivia Voldaren... Either that or bring to life one of the characters from flavour text like "Alena, trapper of Kessig" or "Paulin, trapper of Somberwald", or name a specific Mayor of Avabruck.
Yep, that's stylish and cool. I'm kinda amazed at "Target permanent becomes a 4/4", but I can certainly see the Gideon heritage... I worry most of the time it'll hit lands, which I think drags it a bit into green's territory - Elemental Uprising, Animate Land, Vivify... Oh, but there is also Encircling Fissure. Okay, this is probably all right then.
Oh, nice twist!
Jhoira's Charm
For Challenge # 144. Not a charm, strictly. But I thought it was a cute idea, so I added it.
Tibor's Charm // Lumia's Charm
Challenge # 144
Everyone else is being creative, so I suppose I need to be as well.
I could see something like this in Hex, but in actual paper I guess it would feel a little strange.
Stitcher Geralf's Charm
For Challenge # 144. Trying to do something different, since we've seen a lot of charm challenges. This is probably stretching things in too goofy a direction, admittedly.
