For Challenge # 039
Et voila, quantized damage. It's either destroyed or its not. I considered making this apply to life totals with a d20, which was a lot more likely to matter, but that was more fiddly and less birdlike.
It seems to be a guideline that tropical birds should be in unusual colours, so I put flying in red even though red doesn't usually get high-toughness fliers...
I think it'd be better to say "any number of" rather than "all", to save moments in multiplayer or EDH when you're forced to look through everyone's library...
Amusing take on it though :)
Bwahaha!
Should actually cost about 8 (possibly 10). Given that Time Stop effectively says "End the turn, with this spell and any number of target spells exiled."
Nifty!
Added Vindictive Armadillo
for Challenge # 039
And Extreme Reversal at

for another massive counterspell.
For Challenge # 038
Similar to Magical Blowout, a sort of ultimate proactive and reactive counterspell.
Time Split at

For when you absotively posalutely need an opponent to have not cast that.
For Challenge # 038. It counters the spell! With slight overkill.
You could always pay some blue; skinflint. And, uh, yeah - colourless pure hard counter with recursion? Yow!

I'd have thought.
Research Grant Depleted

Created for Challenge # 038.
With 6 life being the cost of this I'm not really fond of it.

might be better.
Oh yeah, good point, I'd forgotten you could do id links, that's really useful here.
Mabye I should use ".jv" instead of "(jv)" or something similar.
For Challenge # 039
Stretching for a "tapped = sleeping, attacking while tapped = attacking through dreams" flavour... :)
Oh, this may be a good occasion to link your cards by ID, in the (((C1234567))) syntax. E.g. Dapper Drake (jv) has ID 16748 so you enter ( ( ( C16748 ) ) ) without the spaces. That way if multiple people go for the same name we're disambiguated already.
(It seems (((cardname))) links don't work if there are parentheses in the card name, which is somewhat irritating and I'll try to fix it, but another good reason to use ID links in the meantime.)
