And rolling for myself, I roll Challenge # 029 and... Challenge # 039?! Buahaha. Okay, I'll give it some thought...
Yeah, normally Turbo-Fog benefits from tons of Howling Mine effects. I'm surprised you haven't seen it in any of its incarnations. I remember when Batwing Brume was one of the Fogs being used.
/me boggles in awe at Jack's five-card circular synergy cycle fitting the flavour of five items from the comments!
I like this idea quite a lot. It's fun to have creatures that live through Upheaval, Final Judgment or Hallowed Burial in the same way that indestructible creatures and regenerators live through Day of Judgment.
I do worry this effect (on larger/scarier creatures) might be quite hard for blue and white to deal with, but I guess white can combat-burn or tap it, and blue can keep it tapped or counter it on the way down.
The interaction with things like Disintegrate / Yamabushi's Flame is interesting. Or confusing. I think hitting one of these with an Yamabushi's Flame makes it effectively indestructible UEOT... but I'm not at all sure.
Just catching up on challenges, I like this cycle a lot.
Looting generally isn't card advantage.
red actually has more card draw than white now due to looting.
For Challenge # 074.
For Challenge # 074.
I wish this card existed.
Just kidding. I made Treasure Chest and Spectral Galleon.
I refuse to do this on the grounds that I hate pirates and will absolutely not be playing the next Assassin's Creed.
Pieces of Eight! Pieces of Eight!
This Challenge doesn't really need a description, since it explains itself. If you'd like to add a bit of extra challenge, however, think of the two cards you submit as being a push in the direction you'd like to take the set, as opposed to just two generic pirate mechanics. "Pirate World" is a lot of territory to cover. Your 'best set' might be very different than mine...
Weelll, it's not really very green ;)
Oops. :-)
LOL. Yeah, that pretty much is a non-red effect! :)
It's probably 'cause it's not got the white in it, dragging the P/T down :)
Seems... um... better than Fusion Elemental.
I made Terror of the Underdark and Birth of Understanding to satisfy Challenge # 005 and Challenge # 064 simultaneously.
I made Terror of the Underdark and Birth of Understanding, which also satisfy Challenge # 005 as per Challenge # 073.
I made Terror of the Underdark and Birth of Understanding, which also satisfy Challenge # 064 as per Challenge # 073.
For Challenge # 005, Challenge # 064, and Challenge # 073.
