Because the new object in the graveyard is not the same object as the creature that used to be on the battlefield.
A demonstration of this: people suggested that Oloro, Ageless Ascetic ought to say:
> At the beginning of your upkeep, if Oloro is on the battlefield or in the command zone, you gain 2 life.
They didn't use that wording because that wording produces one bizarre piece of behaviour. Suppose Oloro is on the battlefield; his upkeep ability triggers; someone kills him in response; and you put him in the command zone. So the ability that says "if Oloro is on the battlefield or on the command zone" (and triggered while he was one the battlefield) is now resolving while he's in the command zone. What happens? It does nothing. Because the "Oloro", i.e. "~" or "CARDNAME", that triggered the ability was "Oloro, the creature on the battlefield". Which is not the same object as "Oloro, the creature card in the command zone". "Oloro, the creature on the battlefield" no longer exists, and in particular is neither on the battlefield nor in the command zone. And so the ability's intervening-if clause is not true at resolution, so you gain no life.
All of which is a way to illustrate that my proposed wording for this Aura would need the second line. When you kill my Grizzly Bears enchanted with Holy Strength, Holy Strength doesn't say "I'm enchanting something in the graveyard, but I only have 'enchant creature', so that's not legal". It just says "I'm not enchanting anything any more, so that's not legal".
Do you even need the second clause, is an aura automatically removed when the enchanted object changes zones if it's still a legal attachment?
The only problem there is that it changes how the card works, because with that wording you could cast it on a card which is already dead.
In fact, why do auras fall off when the object they're enchanting changes type? Wouldn't it be easier to say that "Enchant X" only applies when the aura first becomes attached?

Sadly I don't think this quite works: see Animate Dead, and specifically the way it has to reattach itself to the new object that the moved card has become. The enchanted creature no longer exists on the battlefield; there may happen to be a new object in that graveyard over there, but...
Hmm. Things like Goryo's Vengeance can track cards moving if they're the ones doing the moving though. And Auras like Controlled Instincts can specify multiple kinds of enchantable permanent. So channelling Skullbriar, the Walking Grave, perhaps you'd be able to write:
> Enchant creature on the battlefield or creature card in a graveyard
> ~ remains attached to creature cards moving between the battlefield and graveyards.

Thank you Spellweaver Volute for half of the precedent. I'm not 100% certain this works the way I think it does... but for all I can tell, the following in the only part of the comprehensive rulebook that sends an aura to the graveyard once the creature it enchants dies:
4c If an Aura is enchanting an illegal object or player as defined by its enchant ability and other applicable effects, the object it was attached to no longer exists, or the player it was attached to has left the game, the Aura is put into its owner’s graveyard. (This is a state-based action. See rule 704.)
If, however, the creature is still a legal target, then the aura should remain attached. At least I think...
