Good point. I'm not sure how powerful Tendo Ice Bridge was in its format, but I'm willing to make this card strictly better since this is a very multicolor-heavy set, where Kamigawa wasn't.
With the equip cost at , I don't think it would be that playable in other decks, but right now I'm pretty cautious about adding too much power into certain cards. After I've got most of the slots filled I'll definitely re-evaluate based on how prolific artifact creatures become in R and B, but for now it's a very specific archetype enabler.
You're right, forgot that it should be "opponent", not "player". Upped the stats a bit to compensate after evaluating comparable cards. Not sure how powerful I want this effect to be since I feel like Rhystic Study/Mind's Eye are fairly powerful cards in multiplayer formats.
Strictly better than Tendo Ice Bridge, in fact, I think? In that it's an Ice Bridge that you can use as an Archaeological Dig once you've burned the (first) charge counter.
Um, is this intended to be "During your draw step, draw as many cards as you like"?
If so, that seems rather bonkers. (Cf Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, which costs twice as much as this.) But if not, then this seems curiously underpowered compared to Mind's Eye. More like Rhystic Study on an easily-killed body.
Mmm. Looks potent, potentially oppressive, but does need quite a hefty stream of card advantage to take full advantage of it. Along with the usual weakness of Edicts to token decks, it's probably okay.
Certainly looks pretty duff in Limited. Could it function as a Vulshok Morningstar on any creature, and only grant indestructibility to artifacts? Or would that make it too playable in other /x decks?
BTW, your comments referencing existing cards will be more legible if you make [[[hyperlinks]]] to those cards with [[[triple square brackets]]].
Anyway, this looks like a fun card. Not really big enough to be anything but a nuisance, but pleasingly persistent.
The haste isn't really necessary, because both the "suicide attack each turn" and "block and come back" each turn patterns can spend the mana cost on a turn when haste isn't needed. But it keeps a nice symmetry having a red ability and a black ability, so it's fine to leave it there.
Slightly better mind sculpt with a fateseal-esque ability. JTMS all over again. Thinking about either reducing the cost to 2U or removing the "nonland" clause, but it might be broken like that. It's even an amazing delve spell, too.
Making a couple of black rares not completely useless in limited. I don't want this set to be another FRF though, where almost every rare is a bomb. If there were intro packs, this would be the black one (probably Black/White deck). For reference, each of the intro pack rares takes up the RX03 slot in the skeleton, where X is the color of the deck. (Wu, Rb, wB, Ur)
Initial cost is 5 since I'm not sure how powerful this is. It mostly seems like a "The next spell you cast costs 1 less" combined with an expensive Rishadan Port.
Need some more combat tricks, so shattering pulse reprint is out. Disappointing.

Nice. Fills the Winds of Rath / Hour of Reckoning / Mass Calcify slot for the set quite nicely.

"target" to "a", since it doesn't work the way I won't to with how costs are paid.

Not a pikachu
"another" included to reduce confusion in what gets the +2/+2.
Black Forbid. Too strong? Loads of card disadvantage and a bloated cost for an edict might help.

Inspired by Salvage Titan and Savage Knuckleblade. Squee 2.0!
Junk rare that encourages a specific archetype in limited (WU). May replace with a token generator, since it kinda fills the same role as the WU Rare.
