I think I'm going to keep these, but with a slight edit to make them better. I just want them to work with the flavor of the set.
It's worse than the Guildgates because this doesn't have type Gate like Dimir Guildgate does, which means it's not fetchable by Gatecreeper Vine or Maze's End and won't turn on your Opal Lake Gatekeepers or Gateway Shade.
If you really don't want the KTK lands, you could always use the original tapland cycle, Coastal Tower and Salt Marsh and so on.
Finding art is becoming too tedious, so I am removing art from the set.
Why is it worse than the Guildgate Cycle? Also, the flavor of some of the KTK lands doesn't fit.
Mana leak's art focuses on a human, and humans don't exist on this plane. I wanted to reprint mana leak in the set but couldn't use its art.
This is worse than the Guildgate cycle, too.
Wizards, with quite obvious intent, just printed a cycle of common taplands with plane-neutral names (see Dismal Backwater). There's no reason to print a new, worse cycle.
It's confusing enough to me that you use preexisting art, especially Magic art, on all of your cards... But did you have to use the art for one existing counterspell (Logic Knot) on a reprint of another existing counterspell?
