I think if you're putting the card fourth from top, though, then 5 mana is very expensive for the ability. Compare Long-Term Plans, which puts any card third from the top. Obviously it's a oneoff so not directly comparable, but still.
I guess you're right, the idea was to combo with loresearch but not rig draw easily, but that could be cheaper.
Made it cheaper but since 3 would be too good on a repeatable ability, I made the colors harder. Will have to make the landbase pretty strong but not too good.
