The basic flavor I was going with was cards that got better if you control a "big" hero (having Wonderwoman unlocks the forest power, compared to having one of her amazon sister warriors), but was a solid card if you didn't have a legendary creature or planeswalker in the deck.
I'm fine with the cycle being at uncommon, however this card is based on two commons so I'd wanna change the effect.
This also feels uncommon, I don't think the Sudden Impact type effect has been lower than that.
This is a weird card that feels more uncommon than common.
we have this card, POW!, Hulk Out and Fleeting Heroism. Not saying we can't have a lot of +4/+X granters but we should try to make them less similar. Hulk out is a good example since it dose adds the "attack each turn" effect as well as a power boost.
This seems too good for common
We shouldn't be punishing p4 like this.
In addition to what I said about Hopeless Cop, this card just feels very awkward. Why does having a legend double mana?
If this theme is going to exist, I feel it should do so at uncommon.
I don't like punishing p4 so severely, the whole point is to encourage it. White might get one, maybe two cards at most that deal with it because of precedence (Smite the Monstrous, Vanquish the Foul, Reprisal, etc.) but I don't like cards like this that go against the theme. See I am the Night
If it was supposed to be an Excommunicate reprint, I would have just suggested that.
This could easily be uncommon if it's deemed too complex.
Don't we just have two?
I like the more interesting wording that leads to more potential interactions (for instance, removing the untap step restriction). I'm not against the boring wording, but it is boring.
"Creature's can't block this turn" I don't think is a common ability.
I agree vedalken tokens are weird. Mostly because all vedalken don't naturally fly, so it's weird that a generic token variety flies.
I agree on uncommon
Love this I'd like us to have a few more cards that interact with creatures that are monstrous (something i would though would have turned up in Theroes Block).
Could we simplify it to returning the creature to the top or bottom of the deck? I like the flavor of it but seems a little too complex.
We have a lot of +4/+4 cards, I think we need to figure out how to limit then and/or work on making them seem different then the same ability used too many different ways.
I agree with Doombringer, helps simplify it.
tectonic rift is uncommon and this is slightly better then it (only costing 1 more mana and making every creature unable to block). How is this common?
Flavor-wise Vedalken are like aliens in comics, able to fly with things like hover platforms or smaller ships. I though of making it a functional reprint Talrand's Invocation, but 1/1 seemed like a better power/toughness for Vedalken.
Honden of Night's Reach is legendary and can only activate once per turn (and can't really get too big unless your running two or three colored deck) and Cinderhaze Wretch can only target one opponent at a time and unless you got some untapping stuff running also only can activate once per turn. Rare seem just right for this.
I like this card, it helps with monstrosity and revive. I don't feel like this need to be legendary since there is a restriction on what you can use the mana for.
I'm not a big fan of these tokens. Just a bit odd. The card itself seems very low impact too. I'd much rather have a Talrand's Invocation functional reprint at uncommon.
why not reword to work like paralyzing grasp with a card draw aspect?
very similar to tectonic rift. Could possibly be a common.
really weird tokens.
Just realised I wasn't signed in, hence Visitor. But, yeah, very Honden-like, and are far too bomby to be common.
Statue cycle is almost definitely uncommon. Great cycle though.
Reminiscent of Honden of Night's Reach, so uncommon isn't completely implausible. There are even common variations like Cinderhaze Wretch, though that's a creature so more vulnerable.
Stonking combo with Mind's Eye though :P And even more so Geth's Grimoire.
