this card is supposed to be high-risk, high-reward. The WGB wedge is life-paying for tempo and advantage. I could alternatively make it , but that looks really awkward.
Hmm.. Change to "target attacking or blocking" and you've got a deal... maybe.
A 16 life differeential is a lot. But wow, to exile a creature. It's the colourlessness of it, more than the low cost, that worries me. The power this gives a deck that intends to win by means other than life (blue mill, maybe?) or even a green poison deck that splashes a bit of lifegain... just too scary.
Though I guess there is the risk that the opponent responds with direct damage and lets this resolve.
It's also really interesting that this somehow feels almost black. What with the reverse drain life.
honestly? I don't know.
It used to be instant speed, but
instant to exile is too powerful, no matter how high the cost so...
Sorcery speed is still powerful, though 16 life swing should be enough to warrant its risks.
P.S. Shouldn't it be "Pharaonic?"
Oh my. This is like a fusion of Swords to Plowshares and Dismember.... both of which are highly powerful cards.
toned it down. Now is a sorcery.
Phyrexian mana can be used on anything artifacts can do. Artifacts can exile creatures, it's just really expensive.
