Thanks!
Seems reasonable, and costed right. Template needs "Choose one: ".
"Funny red Forfend"?
And no, this seems balanced and fair now it untaps the attackers.
Abilities not quite right. Wouldn't be mythic except that I'm running out of rare slots.
Synergy of uncommons and rares is much less; There aren't really any milling cards before this point.
But the idea is, you can have a joint milling/damage strategy, and then use this as a finisher :)
Or Thoughtbind indeed, which I hadn't noticed. But suggests this is costed fairly well.
LOL. Thank you. It's not at all obvious from this end, but I started thinking "what variants on stone rain can I do?" and ended up with this, like a temporary stone rain for all opponents. (It could just say "they tap a land they control" but this is more red and avoids them sinking all their mana into something else.)
Although come to think of it, I hope this never goes anywhere near winter orb.
Thank you. Eek. I expected a one-sided pyroclasm to be stronger but I see they've printed nearly that before. Well, I guess I'm happy for it to be strong. Will try it at 4 mana rather than 5.
ROFL. The intention was to be able to attack again, and I've edited the card to untap all creatures which attacked, although it may now be too unbalanced that your creatures get to untap and the defending player's don't (even though they didn't have to tap in the first place).
But you're right, the card I wrote without that clause was actually interesting, and would be a funny red fog :)
The card red really needs is "Funny red fog. Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to creatures this turn" :)
