No, it's not. That's actually kind of an artifact, when I made the first metroid I gave it a "Tap to fight target creature ability" that I figured should be upgraded to not require taking damage. I ultimately ended up removing said tap ability, however.
Really, perhaps I should make the metroids a different color. I figured green cause they're apex predators, but on the other hand, they're not natural apex predators, they're engineered by the chozo. So maybe blue would be better? It's also fit with their abilities better.
I could even make it a keyword, in order to save space.

: ~ deals 3 damage to target creature. Tap that creature." I toom it out because of space concerns.
