That tap ability is not particularly green.

No, it's not. That's actually kind of an artifact, when I made the first metroid I gave it a "Tap to fight target creature ability" that I figured should be upgraded to not require taking damage. I ultimately ended up removing said tap ability, however.

Really, perhaps I should make the metroids a different color. I figured green cause they're apex predators, but on the other hand, they're not natural apex predators, they're engineered by the chozo. So maybe blue would be better? It's also fit with their abilities better.

This used to have an ability hat read "{t}: ~ deals 3 damage to target creature. Tap that creature." I toom it out because of space concerns.

Interestingly, once you get either this or Alpha Metroid out, you can combine it with a second copy of the same to get unlimited storm count and/or ETB triggers.

hmm. Maybe if I make it so that when you play a metroid, you can return another metroid to your hand in order to have the second metrid cost {x} less, where x is the returned metroids power?

I could even make it a keyword, in order to save space.
